A special word to my students graduating Baylor University and Carnegie Mellon University.

Congratulations, you have achieved what many haven`t.

All my life I have heard people speak but have discovered that few actually have something to say.

I have something to say to you.

Do not let the enemy of your potential stop you.

What is the enemy of my potential you may ask?

The enemy of your potential is your last success.

Why, because it tempts you to stop achieving.

Think about it, 90 - 95 percent of the students who graduate this year, will say I have succeeded.

They will say I have achieved and will limit thier potential because they have set out to do what they have strived for.

Let me give you some history.

Steve jobs created an iphone and many said wow your the man, you have achieved, his reply I have something called an Ipad.

While many did not debate him publicly, it is known there was internal debate at apple on the size.

Steve Jobs reply: folks were going to do this and it became one of the most common and widely used successful items in the world.

One of the things that made Steve Jobs an incredible inventor is his ability to move from success to succes.

He never let his last success tempt him to stop achieving his potential.

I encourage you to move from success to success, never let your last success stop or limit your potential.
